Discover Dolls was launched in 2005, in response to the increasing market for making and collecting realistic baby dolls. The founder and owner, Catherine Read found that there was a lack of non web-based information in the UK about these baby dolls. The focus of the magazine is generally on the increasingly popular art of reborning and sculpting. It concentrates on showcasing new dolls, bringing information about doll artists to collectors, and on teaching new or potential artists the skills needed to begin both these art forms.
 
There was a break in between the last edition and this one and since the Reborn Doll Industry has grown so much and there is so much new information, we are starting with Edition 1 for 2019.  There will be several editions coming out through out the next year (quantity TBD) so you'll want to collect them all. We are not offering a subscription service but will post each new magazine by the edition on our site when they are released.
