For domestic orders we will ships with SA Postal Services or The Courier Guy (Door to Door). Calculation of the shipping charges are based on a combination of chosen shipping method, total product order weight or volumetric weight, destination country and postal code. For deliveries overseas we use the most appropriate courier service for the specific country. Carriage is undertaken in accordance with the carriers terms and conditions.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY
Times are approx and calculated by working days only, we DO NOT ship on Saturdays and Sundays. We try our best to dispatch your order the next working day on condition that the payment has been received. When an order is dispatched a email will confirm shipment including any applicable tracking numbers. Risk of loss passes from us to the shipping carrier, upon delivery of any items to such carrier.
LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
We check all goods for quality and condition before they are dispatched. In the unlikely event any part of your order is received missing or in a damaged condition contact us immediately on receipt of your order, and at least within 3 days by e-mailing us at email@example.com. Claims received after 3 days of receipt can not be accepted. You must retain all damaged items and packing should the carrier need to carry out an inspection. If the goods and packaging are not available for inspection the claim will be rejected and you will be liable for the cost of the damaged goods.
You can rest assured we insure all deliveries against loss or damage in transit. The first R1000.00 of an order is covered by the The CourierGuy as per our contract with them. For order over an R1000.00 the insurance of 3% will be displayed as an seperate line item on the invoice.
All goods must be returned in original packaging and original condition You must inform us with-in 3 days of receipt of your order if you wish to return an item. All returns must be prior approved, e-mail us firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to return an item for a Returns Authorisation Number. Do not return goods without contacting us first, goods returned without a Returns Authorisation Number will not be accepted. Refunds will be subject to 15% Administration Fee.
Please note: Needles, Books, magazines, Catalogues, paper patterns or other printed periodicals cannot be returned. Bodies made to order and Materials cut to length at your specification, such as, elastic, fabrics, lace, mohair, etc. cannot be returned. Delivery/carriage charges for delivering the goods to you in the first instance and any delivery charges for returning the goods to us are not refundable. If you are returning goods that were delivered under a free delivery offer, then our cost for delivering the goods in the first instance is payable by you. and will be deducted from your refund. When returning goods please make sure you gain adequate insurance with the carrier you use against loss or damage in transit. If you request replacement goods then delivery charges will be made.
